With the new 460g PVC clear fabric, Sheltent's clear top tent offers improved transparency and lighter weight compared to the former 430g fabric. We noted only a 5% difference in performance, but a 20% price difference.
Consequently, we chose 460g fabric for its cost-efficiency. It is durable and complies with the B1 flame retardant rating, providing safety for guests at events.
Durable and Lightweight Structure
Sheltent shelters are constructed from a durable yet lightweight aluminum alloy frame. There are several reasons to prefer aluminum alloys over galvanized steel tubes. It's more durable, more portable, and easier to construct.
Using an aluminum alloy frame, we combine all of these outstanding attributes to create a lightweight, sturdy, and rust-resistant framework. This allows us to retain the benefits of the original design while making the structure lighter.
Strong Load-bearing Capacity
We needed to ensure that our tarps would survive, so we looked at synthetic textiles that are recognized for their durability. According to Sheltent's newest study, these tarps are extremely sturdy. They can even support the weight of an SUV! Our newest tarps are designed to last three times as long as the previous ones.
Easy to Set up
If you are an event provider or organizer that manages many locations, we have you covered! Sheltent tents have been altered to be lighter, with the longest poles measuring no more than 3.5 feet. For longer poles, just use a splice. This makes them ideal for a variety of transportable construction and transit applications.

Several Fastening Devices
The original anchoring of our tent included a large ratchet on the stake for reinforcement. We have now added a small ratchet on the tent leg to provide extra support. The stability of the tent remains secure.

Excellent Protection Performance
Sheltent tarps contain UV-coating certified IV, making them ideal for sun protection even on gloomy days. They have a 40 kPa rating; therefore, they manage heat quite effectively. Because they are waterproof, you may wear them in the rain without fear.
Our internal testing has revealed that our tents can survive winds up to grade 8 and most windy circumstances, with the exception of tornadoes. Furthermore, they can withstand up to 0.1 meters of snow buildup on the sidewalls, allowing events to continue as scheduled even in inclement weather.
